Brian Scully Services were selected following a competitive tender to install Air Conditioning Systems in the new Maldron Hotel, Cork City. The complete Hotel, including the Gym, Business Centre, Meeting Rooms, Offices, Bar & Lounge Area, Dining Area & Foyer is fitted out with Mitsubishi Electric HVRF Heat Recovery Air Conditioning Systems. All 163 bedrooms and suites were also Air Conditioned to meet guest demands.
Each bedroom was fitted with independent simplified room controller. In addition, central controllers were installed to give the client the facility to override the room controllers and view the operation and diagnostics of the system.
Energy and running costs were further minimized with the installation of Mitsubishi Electric Lossnay Heat Exchangers throughout the hotel. When working together with air conditioning system, Lossnay Units can provide significant energy savings by automatically utilizing free cooling as well as heat recovery.
Overall, the result is that guests benefit from the comfort and control of a Mitsubishi Electric City Multi HVRF top of the range Air Conditioning System.
